Hi! I'm Zahir

Profile

Over the past three years of studying set design at university I have gained many new skills; designed for a range of drama, feature films and light entertainment projects, worked on student films and had a range of professional work experience. Working on live productions has fueled my desire to pursue this career and work my way up in the art department.

I am passionate, driven and incredibly hardworking; can work well individually or as part of a larger team.  I want to continue to develop my skills and knowledge of the art department as I progress in the future.

I am proficient at model making, drafting, sketchup and have some experience of photoshop. I am a quick learner and not phased by technology; always willing to pick up new skills.  Also I’m told I make a great cup of tea!

I have worked in an accountant’s office as my summer job for the last 6 years and have gained a number of transferable skills, such as dealing with personal information and being trusted to handle it with discretion.  Acting with a high level of professionalism when interacting and communicating with clients.  I had to be very organised and methodical in my work; handling figures and ensuring deadlines were met.
