Set in a dystopian future were cities toll around on huge wheels destroying each other mortal engines was the book we had to adapt for the final project of second year.

I chose to design Air Haven – a safe haven for all people floating above the hunting ground. I decided to create part of the main street and a docking platform for air ships. I included some houses which would be made out of salvaged metal sheets and beams joined together. I also designed parts of a market which is where part of the story takes place.

I took inspiration from Tudor architecture in designing the buildings substituting lathe and plaster for metal sheeting and beams.
